This unit is about providing make-up for a variety of occasions, including day, evening and special occasions. You will be able to work with a variety of skin types and apply a wide range of make-up products to different skin tones and age groups. This unit is about providing manicure and pedicure services to clients. It covers consulting with the client, recognizing any contra-indications, preparing for the service and producing a service plan. It also covers filing and buffing the nails, using skin and cuticle treatments, massaging the hand, lower arm, feet and lower leg and providing a suitable nail finish.

This unit is about removing hair using waxing techniques. The areas to be treated include the eyebrows, face, legs, underarm and the bikini line. You will need to be able to consult with the client, prepare and plan for the treatment. You will also need to provide aftercare advice to the client, particularly around the avoidance of certain activities and the use of home care products.

This unit is about improving face and skin condition using direct high frequency, galvanic, EMS, micro-current, lymphatic drainage and micro-dermabrasion equipment. It covers the skills involved in providing a thorough consultation with the client to formulate a specific course of treatment tailored to individual client needs. The ability to provide relevant aftercare advice is also required.

This unit is about providing body electrical treatments to clients for the purpose of skin or figure improvement and reduction of tension. Learners will develop the knowledge and skills to prepare and maintain equipment and provide a professional body electrical treatment. Learners will also develop their understanding of body electrical treatments and their effect on the body.

This unit provides the foundation knowledge of anatomy and physiology in relation to exercise and health. Learners will develop their knowledge of the structure and function of the skeletal, muscular, circulatory, respiratory, nervous, endocrine and energy systems, and the changes to these systems throughout the lifespan. Learners will also develop their knowledge of the effects of activity and exercise on these systems.
